Over 10 months ago, fellow food blogger extraordinaire Alessandra Zecchini created Sweet New Zealand, an event to be hosted by a different Kiwi food blogger every month. The event basically revolves around bloggers sharing one or more of their favourite or current 'sweet' recipe(s) for the month on the host's blog site. The rules are simple and the event is open to all Kiwi bloggers around the globe, and to any blogger living in NZ.
The first Sweet New Zealand was hosted by Alessandra in August 2011 and since then, it's grown in popularity and success. It's been a fun way for Kiwi bloggers far and wide to get to know each other and a clever way to introduce our readers to each other's blogs. It has also been a great way for Kiwi bloggers based outside of NZ to remain involved in our growing community of food bloggers.
We're now on to our 10th Sweet New Zealand (May) which has been hosted by the very lovely Jemma of Time for A Little Something. You can get an update Jemma's round up on May's contributions here.
I hosted Sweet New Zealand in February and had a blast showcasing all the yummylicious baking from some of our very talented food bloggers. So when Alessandra put the word out for a host for June, I put my hand up again!

And if you're new to this, here are the very simple rules you need to know:
2. You can enter anything sweet (as simple or complicated as you like): cakes, biscuits, slices, desserts, even drinks, and you may submit as many entries as you like, including old posts if you like.

- the phrase "Sweet New Zealand",
- a link to the host (so that's to my blog homepage),
- a link to this post
- include the Sweet New Zealand badge (just right-click and download the image from my post),
- and if you are submitting an older post remember to update it accordingly with all of the above.
4. To submit your entry email me at allsugarspice@gmail.com by 28 June with:
your name,
- your blog name and a link to your blog,
- a link to the post you're contributing (and name of recipe if it's not on your post's title)
- a photo from your post (not more than 250kb if possible please).
Once all contributions are in by 28 June, I'll do a round up and post them all up on 30 June.
